Dinch Street Debut: A Day of Creativity and Community at Woodland Hills Farmers Market
This past Saturday marked a special milestone for our little collective – our very first appearance on Dinch Street at the bustling Woodland Hills Farmers Market! What started as a spark of an idea has blossomed into a reality, and we couldn't be prouder.
@sjcooksey.artist, @harutystudios, @thesurefirestudio, and our dear friends @vchampayneroom came together to showcase our unique talents, creating a vibrant Artist Row that truly captured the spirit of handmade and heartfelt creations.
SJ Moon’s hand-drawn sketches and artwork brought a touch of whimsical magic to the market, each piece telling a story with every delicate line. Raychel’s handcrafted jewelry, crafted from polymer clay, added a splash of color and artistry, showcasing her unique vision and skill. Victoria’s hand-sewn vests and expert alterations provided a touch of bespoke fashion, ensuring everyone could find something that fit perfectly and reflected their personal style.
And let’s not forget my amazing husband, Haruty of @harutystudios, our resident massage therapist! He brought the gift of relaxation to the market, offering home call massages that truly rejuvenate the mind, body, and soul. Trust me, a house call massage is a game-changer – it’s the ultimate self-care treat.
The Woodland Hills Farmers Market itself was a delight. Organized by the incredible Sam, it offered a perfect blend of classic farmers' produce, delicious food and coffee, and family-friendly activities. The kids' area, petting zoo, and miniature horse rides added a touch of whimsy, creating a joyful atmosphere for everyone.
But the real star of the show was Artist Row, where our collective and other talented artisans showcased their handmade treasures. The sense of community was palpable, with everyone supporting local artists, vendors, and farmers. It was a reminder of the power of collaboration and the beauty of handmade creations.
We were truly touched by the warm reception and the support from everyone who stopped by our booth. It’s moments like these that make all the hard work worthwhile.
If you're looking for a Saturday morning filled with creativity, community, and delicious treats, make sure to visit the Woodland Hills Farmers Market. You can find us, and other amazing vendors, every Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm on Shoup, just a stone's throw from Ventura Blvd.
