Hey everyone, Simon James here from SJCooksey Studios! Yesterday was absolutely glorious at the

GOODTIMES Farmers Market at Los Angeles Valley College. The sun was shining, the energy was buzzing, and the creativity was flowing. Seriously, the weather was perfect market weather – that crisp, sunny California kind of day that makes you want to linger and soak it all in.

I was there with my art, connecting with people, and just generally soaking up the vibrant atmosphere. It's always such a privilege to share my work and see how it resonates with others. The market is more than just a place to sell; it's a community gathering, a space for dialogue, and a source of inspiration. I love seeing the diverse crowd, the families strolling by, the students browsing, and the artists connecting. It's a beautiful microcosm of LA life.

Speaking of vibrant, a huge shoutout to the vendors who made the market even more special. My morning started with an incredible coffee from @aota. Seriously, that first sip was pure magic – the perfect fuel for a creative day. And later, I indulged in some absolutely mouthwatering pupusas from @gloriaspupusas , flavorful, and utterly addictive. If you haven't tried them, you're missing out! Oh and almost forgot - the best Thai food from @grandmasthaikitchen in Valley Village , orange chicken and Pad Thai. Incredible !!!!! These folks, and all the other vendors, bring so much passion and dedication to what they do, and it truly elevates the entire market experience.

For me, these markets are a constant source of inspiration. Seeing the handcrafted goods, the unique designs, and the sheer talent on display sparks so many new ideas. It reminds me of the power of creativity and the importance of supporting local artists and businesses. It's a reminder that art isn't confined to galleries or museums; it's alive and thriving in our communities.

I believe art should provoke thought, spark conversation, and challenge our perspectives. It's not just about aesthetics; it's about connection, emotion, and storytelling. That's what I strive for in my own work, and that's what I appreciate seeing in the work of others..
