GOODTIMES at the LAVC Famers Market
Sunday Bliss: Discovering the Good Times Farmers Market at LAVC
There's something truly special about a Sunday spent wandering through a vibrant farmers market, and this past weekend, I found my happy place at the GOODTIMES Farmers Market at LAVC. Let me tell you, it lived up to its name!
From the moment I arrived, the energy was infectious. A huge shoutout to Rogers (yes, both of them!) for organizing such a fantastic event, and to Adriana for those absolutely refreshing agua frescas – the perfect start to a sunny day.
Of course, no market visit is complete without great coffee, and I was spoiled for choice with delicious brews from @aotacoffee and @kamaran_coffee_. Fuelled and ready, I dove into the incredible food scene.
Let's talk about the lineup:
@gloriaspupusas: Authentic and utterly delicious pupusas that were a true taste of home.
@enomusubi_la: Fresh, flavorful sushi that proved a farmers market can be a culinary adventure.
@bouledepainla: Crusty, artisan sourdough that made my carb-loving heart sing.
Sahi Freeze Dried Caramel Puffs: A unique and addictive treat that I couldn't resist.
@churro.chica: Warm, crispy churros that were the perfect sweet ending.
And that's just scratching the surface! There were also mouthwatering pizzas, juicy smash burgers, savory shawarma, and so much more. This market is a true foodie paradise.
Beyond the food, the GOODTIMES Farmers Market is a treasure trove of local produce, arts, and crafts. It's a fantastic way to support local vendors and discover unique finds.
What truly made the experience memorable was the people. The vendors were passionate, the atmosphere was friendly, and it was clear everyone was having a blast.
If you're looking for the perfect Sunday outing, head to the GOODTIMES Farmers Market at LAVC. It's open every Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
Supporting our local community has never been so delicious and fun!
With love,
Simon at SJCooksey
