VISION Hot ROD

Aims:

My aim is to look at the culture of Hot Rodding and how diverse the scene is. From this I will be able to create such a  vehicle that is influenced directly by the original vehicle designs but with the technology of a modern day sports car.

Objectives:

I hope to create a small two seater concept that uses design influences of vehicle from the 1930s/40s,Whilst having a multitude of options to give the user flexibility in the styling. Similar to that of the hot rod scene. Other recent vehicles include the  Plymouth Prowler and PT Cruiser.

Outcomes:

By creating this concept I hope to bring a fresh look to how we perceive hot rod. The recent flourish of retro muscle cars inspired me to push the boundaries to create a modern day hot rod.
